Listed below are the major projects Healing Art Missions currently runs in Haiti. To learn more about each project, simply click on photo next to the project.
 
  • Medical Missions: American medical and support volunteers travel to Haiti three to four times a year to perform free medical clinics in poor communities  with few health resources, including Dumay, Leogan, Fort Jaques, Penier, Gran Ravine and Cite Soleil.




  • Community Health Clinic in Dumay: Working with the community leaders in Dumay to set up a local medical clinic to serve a population of 10,000 and staffed entirely by Haitian’s.






  • Primary Care for the Elderly: Funding for a program at Hospital Haiti Medicare focusing on the primary medical needs of those 50 years and older living in poverty.






  • Hope for the Children of Haiti School: Funding of teachers salaries at K through 5th grade neighborhood school in Port au Paix serving over 200 children.







  • Feeding program in Gran Ravine: Funding of nutrient supplemented rice packets for feeding program for 400 utilizing local volunteers in major slum community in Port au Prince.







  • Social Justice Project: Currently funding legal costs to represent families of 4 children electrocuted in Cite Soleil by faulty electrical line that fell at public water well.
